Resource: Children’s Program database (US)

Child Trends, a not-for-profit, non-partisan research centre in the USA, hosts a database of evaluations of out-of-school-hours programs aimed at enhancing children’s development.

Their LINKS (Lifecourse Interventions to Nurture Kids Successfully) database is directed toward program providers and policy makers, as it shares programs that work (and do not work) to enhance children’s development. Program searches can be quite specific, breaking down categories into age, gender and preferred outcomes for children at all stages of development.

To access the evidence-based database, see the Child Trends website.
